CMAG Health Solutions - A licensed healthcare organization providing Mobile Phlebotomy, Remote Caregiver Systems, Medical Practice (specializing in wound care), In-Home Healthcare, and Training for Healthcare Professionals.

CMAG Cleaning - A full service residential and commercial cleaning service.

In 2022, Cathy and Angela are planning to start their 6th business, CMAG Development

 

 

Executive Director, Human Services Programs

​2015 - 2018

 

• Increased Operating budget from $4.2 Million to $5.3 Million in less than two years.

• Created a new fiscal and budgeting process to better meet the needs of the agency.

• Lead a multimillion-dollar budget, 18 programs, services provided in three locations, 85 staff and over 700 volunteers.

• Engage with local, state, and federal offices to support multiple programs throughout the agency, as related to funding, monitoring, and resource management.

• Develop and implement policy and procedures related to all functions of the agency.

• Directly supervise the work of the 8 agency directors (Shelter and Housing, Workforce Development, Finance, Grants Management, Family Center, Emergency Assistance, Operations, and Marketing and Outreach)

• Work with the Board of Directors to manage the strategic planning, fiduciary responsibility, and overall management of the agency.

• Conduct fundraising activities to support the work of the agency.

• Teach both in-person and on-line versions of the Research Methods in Government and Public Policy course.

• Provide a learning environment for students that create a direct correlation between the research methods skills learned and the technical skills needed in leadership, such as data collection and analysis, technical writing, and presentation skills.

Director of the Bureau of Program Evaluation, Maryland State Government

​2011-2015

 

• Oversee the work of three specialized units (Eligibility Program Evaluation, Contract Monitoring and Federal Work Participation Evaluation) within the Family Investment Administration (FIA).

• Utilize both evidence and strengths-based models to create changes in the evaluation and monitoring processes for the Bureau and statewide as it relates to Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF).

• Project Manager of a half million-dollar federal New Investment Plan to devolve knowledge of and responsibility for benefit accuracy to the local offices throughout the state.

• Develop and implement a statewide Leadership Development Program for employees throughout the state, including the creation of an Leadership Institute with modules focused on topics such as Listening and Communication Skills, Business Writing, and Time Management.

• Serve as the Acting Deputy Executive Director for the FIA Office of Operations in the absence of the DED.
